The launch of a new book, Rehabilitation in Cancer Care, has been celebrated by Royal Marsden staff.
Jill Cooper, head occupational therapist, and Nicki Murtagh, head of therapies at The Royal Marsden, were part of a team of five editors (which also included Jane Rankin, Dr Karen Robb and Sian Lewis) responsible for putting the book together.
The book was officially launched at an event held at the Tangerine Café at the Millennium Hotel in Knightsbridge on Tuesday 25 May.
Around 40 guests gathered together to hear presentations from Shelley Dolan, chief nurse at The Royal Marsden, and lead editor Jane Rankin, who is lead cancer physiotherapist for the Cancer Centre, Belfast Health and Social Care Trust.
